About The Eagles
The Eagles are a famous American rock band establish in Los Angeles in 1971. With five number-one singles and six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards, the Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s in North America. The band was well known for its complex lyrics and complex music, as well as their distinct sound that differed from the mainstream rock music of other eras. They were also known as the first metal band. This band, led by Glenn Frey, was one half of a pair of twin brothers (Gerry and Mike) and a drummer (Bing Crosby).
The group's name comes from their love of rock and roll music and the fact that they were named after two brothers who were close friends of their parents. Glenn had little interest in the music; however, he was particularly fond of his brother Mike , a professional skateboarder. Many years later, Mike had moved to Los Angels to pursue his own musical career. However, at the time of Glenn's death, his two other brothers, Bob (a guitar player) (born in Philadelphia, PA) who was also a good skateboarding and music lover, and Glenn Jr. (also a guitarist, born in San Diego, CA), a talented athlete and musician, were living in Las Vegas, Nevada.
