About Reba McEntire

Reba Nell McEntire has also known mononymously as Reba and often referred to as "the Queen of Country", is a famous American country singer, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, to Ray and Betty Nel McEntire. In 1993, she released her debut studio album, Revenger's Dream, and in 1999, in a joint effort with her husband and fellow country music singer Johnny Cash, released the compilation album The Best of Reb Nella, which included the singles "The One That Got Away" and "I'll Be There For You". In May 2000, Mcentire released Reverb Nation, her first platinum-selling album and the first album to top the Billboard country albums chart. Reverbnation was certified a diamond album by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for exceeding one million sales, and the album's single "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

After Re-Fab, an album recorded at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, that was released in 2002, followed by her fourth album A New Way to Treat Her, (2003), Reversal of Heart (2004), and her sixth album (2005), I'm So Excited that I Can't-Wait, was produced by Cash and was the most successful album of her career. The album spawned three singles, "When You Say Goodbye", "You're the One", and a duet with Cash called "Don't Let It End". Revert, a collaboration with Justin Moore appeared on the soundtrack for the 2004 film Home Alone 4: Lost in New York. For the 2007 film The Help, featuring Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey, Mcentire was cast as the main character. At the beginning of 2008, it was announced that McEnany's next studio release would be her seventh studio, titled Reverts, with its first single to be "Stay", released on April 16, 2008.
