Edward Christopher Sheeran MBE is a famous English singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire in England, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he began writing songs around the age of eleven. He was a fan of the music of Bob Dylan and the Beatles, as well as the work of such artists as Pink Floyd and The Beatles. In 1997, under the name Sheeri, it was recorded and released by his own record label. A year later, in 1998, a new album called The Light of Home was produced by Nick Cave, whom Shehan had befriended on the trip to Israel.
